Gingham Pattern In Dress Shirts

Originally, during the 17th century, a gingham weave used two different colour fibres to produce a striped fabric. As time went on, gingham fabrics began to appear as a checkered pattern from the mid-18th century, and today it is almost always a checkered pattern.
