Daily News – July 22, 2009

The New York Times is reporting on a special environmental technology that cuts water usage in the textile industry. Again, the CIT crisis continues to occupy front and centre stage of the industry news today, as the funding is being examined in more detail, and investors are beginning to better understand how the $3 billion that CIT found on the weekend is doing little more at this stage than buying time.

The first of these two videos is about the new water-cutting technology, the second is a news report that focuses on the finance side of what is happening with CIT, and while a bit technical, is one of the better explanations that we have seen in terms of putting the company crisis into plainer English.
